This conception of the afterlife is not in the least of what I was expecting. I do not remember the Kindred, but perhaps my death was swift enough despite it all.

[She pauses, then says sternly:] I am told that after introducing oneself, the other party provides their name. I do not know yours.

Not really sure of that yet, other than that we're being played with.

I suppose that would explain why I did not encounter the Kindred after all. Then again, many people have held theories about what comes after. I will be mindful if I encounter something suspicious.

The spirits of Death. Lamb guides those prepared for death, Wolf hunts those who run from it. Neither appeared for me, I think. But who is to say?

Ah- [ He sends her a location near the edge of the city. ] Here, it is quiet there.

Supposedly that is true. I only know what I have been told, and my father believed in the Kindred.

[ She will find him waiting at the designated area, a small overgrown park on the edge of the city, but it is indeed quiet, and pretty in it's own urban-decay kind of way.

He lifts a hand to wave to her when he sees her. Holy shit she's huge. That is. Wow. She's like... magnificent? Stunning. Those thighs are like tree trunks. ]

Hm. I do not know what I expected... but you are a small man, Byleth.

Then again, most are in comparison to me.

[She doesn't mean it as an insult as she approaches. Instead, she's looking him over, as if in confusion. There is a sense she gets off of him, something similar to how she felt when Yvva neared. But not as chaotic.

What sort of person are you?

[ Small? Well, he never really was regarded as particularly large compared to most around him. Still, it's an... amusing observation.

She approaches him and he looks up at her, tilting his head. ]

I'm not sure. [ He shrugs. ] Just... a person, I guess?

Indeed. There are feral dragons meaning to only attack the defenseless. I was part of the guard to protect these people.

Not all dragons are this way, of course. But many follow their impulses with little thought. It makes them weak.

Corrin is intrigued, it was rare to meet anyone who had an affinity with dragons outside of his home realm.} ]

I-- I understand what you mean entirely. Back before I arrived here, I was fighting against a puppet master of a dragon -- my own father. And though I may be born from him and be part dragon myself... I hold my blade to protect the innocent. To carve out a future that is free from suffering.

[There's a pause. Honestly, she hadn't been expecting that kind of news.]

I... was not aware there was one similar to me.

I did not know my dragon parents. Only the man who raised me.

[She considers, then offers:] I, too, had to battle my broodmother. I do not know what made her so ferocious, but she needed to be stopped. I understand a bit of what you have endured.

I'm ... so sorry to hear you've lived through similar. I know firsthand how difficult it is. I hope you find some comfort in meeting someone who knows how it feels to fight those who are related by blood. Sometimes it can feel pretty challenging when other people out there don't quite know how it feels to live through such a unique and upsetting life experience.

[_{His tone is gentle and kind.} ] My name is Corrin, by the way. What's yours?

It is unexpected, but not unwelcome. Even in Demacia, I did not fit in well.

When y'say Kindred, what are you referring to?

The Kindred are the spirits of death, or so I am told. Forever intertwined, guiding those destined to die.

Lamb, who takes people gently. Wolf, who chases those unwilling to meet their fate.

[The actual werewolf is going to try not to choke as she says that. Because, well, she is a wolf.]

Ah, spirits, right. Thought you might be talkin' about blood-suckers.

I've met plenty of Wolf Spirits before. As they go, they're a strong one to learn from.

I've no doubt on that. The Kindred are different, but there are other spirits. These matters I never looked into much.

Mmn. I work closely with Coyote and Stag, if that means anything to you. [They might have come from different worlds but the umbra - the plane were spirits existed - stretched far and wide. It was possible.]

No. I didn't want to see. I know I would have gone out fighting though. I refuse to die any other way. That was my responsibility.

Neither spirit has meaning to me. There would be others that likely could relate more, if they were here.

To go out in glory is the only acceptable way for me to die at this age.
